Anomalous values of the Debye temperature have been reported for the Mössbauer dynamics in the Chromium matrix (Dubiel et al. 2008). We show that this anomaly may arise due to low temperature anharmonicity. We use q-Lamb Mössbauer factor and the anharmonic approach to study this anharmonicity.
