ABSTRACT

In this study we report the synthesis of nano-sized NiCrFeO4 using the solution combustion method and the variation in magnetic, structural and transport properties. XRD analysis of samples confirmed the formation of pure spinel phase. The crystallite size, obtained from XRD is in good match with that seen in TEM. The magnetic and dielectric properties have been studied after post annealing treatment of the material at 700°C and 900°C. Dielectric constant and dielectric loss were measured as a function of frequency and temperature. The dielectric constant and dielectric loss show a decrease with increase in frequency for both the samples.
