The potential use of copper ferrocyanide – polyurethene foam (CFC-PU foam) developed in our laboratory was investigated in the treatment of radioactive liquid waste for the removal of cesium. The pilot plant scale studies were carried out so that these studies can be further extended to the plant scale operations. Decontamination factors obtained were found to be function of total dissolved solids. A correlation studies on results obtained from pilot plant and laboratory scale were made and observed that they are in good agreement with each other.
