The data for the total cross-section of K⁺scattering on various nuclei have been analysed in the Glauber multiple scattering theory. Energy-dependent K⁺nucleus optical potential is generated using the forward K⁺nucleon scattering amplitude and the nuclear density distribution.Along with this, the calculated total K⁺nucleus cross-sections using the effective K⁺nucleon cross-section inside the nucleus are also presented.
